Is this a certification or a pass/fail check?
No. Every finding is advisory decision-support for a chartered engineer — phrased as “appears inconsistent with…”, “verify…”. Your judgement leads; the review gives you a rigorous, clause-referenced starting point.
How are findings referenced?
Each finding cites the governing-code clause it rests on (e.g. BS 6349-1-2:2016+A1:2017, Clause 28), the location in your document, a severity, a confidence rating, and an actionable recommendation. Nothing is ever attributed to a clause that can’t support it.
What does “independently verified” mean?
After the review is drafted, a second, independent pass re-examines every finding against your document and the code, recomputes the most safety-critical numbers, and withdraws anything that can’t be defended. You see the verification summary with your review.
Is my design kept private?
Yes. Your document is stored privately against your account and used only to produce your review. It is never used to improve the tool unless you explicitly opt in at upload.
Which structures and codes are covered?
Quay walls, jetties, dolphins, piled decks, breakwaters and coastal protection, marine piling, mooring & fendering, dredging and reclamation, dry docks, locks and navigation channels — reviewed under BS 6349 (default), Eurocode 7, EC2/3, API, or a code you nominate.
Can I attach reference documents?
Yes — up to 5 supporting documents (Basis of Design, drawings, project specifications) alongside your design. The review cross-checks your deliverable against them: inputs vs the stated design basis, spec requirements where they exceed code minima, and drawing consistency. The first 10 MB is included free; each additional 20 MB uses one extra review credit (50 MB max).
How big a document can I upload?
Up to 50 MB per design. A PDF of up to 100 pages is read in full — drawings, figures and scanned pages included. A longer PDF is still reviewed, but from its text only, and the review says so under its limitations. For a long, multi-volume report, uploading the relevant volume or section on its own gives a sharper review.
What does it cost?
Reviews use credits by depth: Standard is 1 credit, In-depth is 2, and an Exhaustive line-by-line audit is 5 (plus 1 per extra 20 MB of reference documents beyond the included 10 MB). You start with 10 free credits during beta and can earn more by giving feedback on findings — see pricing.
